Description

The new three-story Pack Studios Innovation Center is located at DOW's Tarragona site. The ground floor houses the testing and production facilities for sustainable films and plastic packaging, as well as storage and changing rooms. On the first floor, there is an open work area delimited by partition walls behind which there are individual offices, meeting rooms and a cafeteria opening onto a spacious lounge. The interior design reflects the company's sustainable philosophy through the use of eco-labeled and environmentally friendly materials. In order to create an efficient and functional building envelope, a load-bearing structure of prefabricated concrete elements was chosen in combination with a façade of aluminum sandwich panels.
