How is Barcelona addressing new challenges from architecture and urban planning?
The B2B Talks in Barcelona, organized by the European Chambers of Commerce in Barcelona together with the Barcelona City Council, tried to answer this question.
Sofia Alexanderson from TBI Architecture & Engineering was one of the invited speakers.
Barcelona is currently experiencing a period of major urban transformation that open new opportunities for the city, which has been chosen by UNESCO-UIA as World Capital of Architecture in 2026.
After Elena Amat Serrano, Manager of Metropolitan Coordination and urban Transformations of the Barcelona City Council, had explained the various current urban transformation projects in the outskirts of Barcelona, different invited architects explained their perspectives and vision of the city’s urban future, based on their current projects.
